The preliminary traffic impact assessment showed that:

• Peak construction period (2019-2025): traffic flow (including construction vehicles and sludge disposal vehicles) about 20 vehicles per hour
• Operation stage (from 2025): traffic flow (including sludge disposal vehicles) about 2 vehicles per hour

It is assessed that the traffic generated during the construction and operation of the SWHEPP Improvement Scheme would not affect the nearby traffic.
